WHAT LECITHIN INJECTION IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
Phosphatidylcholine, the active ingredient of Lecithin injection, is derived from soy bean
lecithin. Chemically, the phosphatidylcholine molecule consists of a head group
(phosphorylcholine), a middle piece (glycerol), and two tails (the fatty acids, which vary). The
phosphatidylcholine molecules present in the tissues of organisms may vary depending on the
radical of the fatty acid linked to the molecule.
The injectable lecithin is clear yellowish liquid, free from visible particles.
The Lecithin Injection is used in:
-Body slimming: Loss weight
-Obesity treatment
HOW TO STORE LECITHIN INJECTION?
Lecithin Injection should be contained in brown glass ampoules because it suffers degradation when expose to light.
The recommend storage temperature: store under refrigeration (4℃～9℃), although there is no reference to this medicine being sensitive to temperature.
Do not use Lecithin Injection after the expiry date, which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the Environment.
